 Jonathan Koshar  

Jonathan Koshar – Managing Partner

Jonathan Koshar is known as “Mr. Turn Around” for his work in Washington DC, Bermuda, Barbados and with other clients.  The former McCaw Communications, AT&T and Cingular executive has decades of high-level work experience including positions such as AT&T/Cingular Vice President and General Manager in International for properties in Bermuda and Barbados; Lead executive in the Washington, DC/Baltimore market; AT&T national level Director of Business Strategy and Director of the New Market Build and Launch teams; CFO of the Messaging Division of AT&T Wireless during reorganization and sale of the division, and various financial and M&A roles in 15 years with the company. Prior to that, Jonathan worked with GE and Lockheed Martin in various financial and operational management roles.  He has supported CEOs and Presidents with general management and financial consulting focused on operations and strategic development. Perpetually good-humored, Jonathan believes opportunities exist in any economy. “Passion alone won’t sustain your business.  The winners are those who refuse to be victims.  They have a strategy, and, if need be, get help.  Nothing replaces the execution of a solid business plan.”   Jonathan is a member of the Bellevue Washington Breakfast Rotary Club and has served as a Rotarian in multiple countries since 1988.  He is also a sailing enthusiast.


Kathy Lindenbaum   

Kathy Lindenbaum – Partner

Prior to joining The Broad Reach Group, Kathy spent 12 years as a human resources executive with McCaw Communications and AT&T Wireless, most recently as Vice-President of Transition Planning. In that role Kathy led the human resource staff responsible for integrating acquired-company employees and processes. Kathy also served as Chief of Staff of the human resources senior team, and has been the leader for various human resource functions (business planning, communications, staffing, and organizational development) at both regional and national levels. Her vast consulting experience includes industries such as: Internet commerce, digital entertainment, marketing communications, wireless technology, and construction management.  Her master’s degree in counseling frequently comes in handy.  "Our team has always operated with a holistic approach to our clients.  We provide extensive support, and help them develop targeted, timely solutions," she says.  "We’re able to work with clients to think through processes and dilemmas, with an internal viewpoint and external objectivity."


 Jennifer Edson  

Jennifer Edson – Consultant

Jennifer has been a leader in finance and accounting for a variety of companies, including Arthur Andersen.  As an auditor, Jennifer helped companies establish internal controls, uncovered opportunities for process improvement, and interfaced directly with upper management and audit committees. Clients range from high technology companies to those involved in manufacturing and distribution.
Jennifer has many years of experience in accounting, auditing, systems implementation and training. Currently Jennifer provides accounting and business consulting services to emerging companies and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Washington.  Jennifer enjoys process improvement and helping people leverage technology to save time and money, adding that companies are often shocked at where their money is going.  “We love helping people isolate their challenges by accessing their data and helping them understand it.  If the quality of data needs to improve, we can facilitate that so that informed decision making can begin.”


 Jim Bennett  

Jim Bennett – Consultant

Former AT&T Wireless Senior Vice President, Jim Bennett is an experienced leader, skilled at identifying root causes of operational issues and developing improvement strategies. Since leaving AT&T Wireless (AWS) he has leveraged these skills in setting up sales operations processes, fixing process quality issues, and developing strategy with key distribution partners and vendors over the course of several consulting engagements. During his tenure at AWS, Jim held the executive position of Senior Vice President of Customer Services. He and his team created and led a national call center organization responsible for the activation, care, and receivables management processes supporting over 20 million customers. Jim also led a team of 300 consultants and employees to redesign and replace the error prone CRM and billing systems that supported these customers. Prior to this, Jim was responsible for integrating the operations of several acquired wireless companies into AWS, including resolving people and process issues across all functional areas. Jim was a member of the senior leadership team which managed all operations for the 10-state Western Region of AWS, and joined McCaw Cellular during the time of its merger with AT&T as the Corporate Controller. Before joining McCaw/AWS, Jim held numerous financial management positions within NCR Corporation. Jim holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Production Management from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He is the former Treasurer of the United Way of King County, and also served on the boards of the Bellevue Art Museum and Volunteers of America.   Says Jim, “All of us at The Broad Reach Group fundamentally care about people.  We know how to quickly identify processes that are broken.  We all have records of innovative ways to help businesses survive and even capitalize in bad economies.”

Stephanie Bariault – Consultant

Stephanie Bariault has extensive domestic and international operations experience leading large teams in wireless, internet and high tech.  In her role as Vice President Business Operations for Fareastone, an AT&T Wireless joint venture in Taiwan, she was instrumental in the development, launch and operations of a nation wide wireless network (the fastest growing in GSM history) and Taiwan's third largest ISP. This success was followed by the acquisition of 15 wireless licenses and the development of 11 wireless networks in the Caribbean where as Vice President and General Manager she lead teams through the business development (license and partner acquisition), build out, launch, operations and eventual sale of the business.  Most recently Stephanie has turned her honed management and operations experience towards assisting large multi-faceted organizations in assessing and improving business operations; including strategic planning, launch strategies, marketing, call center consolidation, and process improvement.
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Washington Executive MBA program and Washington State University where she earned her BA in Education and Communications.
